Distilled, aged, and bottled in Kentucky, Chicken Cock Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey has a rich, elegant mahogany hue color, a nose with a nice balance of oak tones with sweet notes of dried fruit, caramel and vanilla.
MASHBILL: 70% Corn / 21% Rye / 9% Malted Barley
Nose: Nice balance of oak tones with sweet notes of dried fruit, caramel and vanilla.
Palate: Soft oak tannin upfront, which dissipates into delightful toasted oak lactones. At 90 proof there’s a slight bourbon heat that let’s you know this is a real deal, full-bodied bourbon. On the tongue, it evolves into a creamy almost buttery mouthfeel with sweet butterscotch notes.
Finish: Vanilla wafer finish with salted caramel.
